History

Christian Pedersen and Tajo McBurnie have been friends, classmates and musical collaborators for more than five years. Christian and Tajo met Saul Nadis in junior high school and joined with him to form Haggard. Haggard describes their music as “Skunge,” a fusion of Ska-Punk and Grunge. Their style features heavy, driving guitar, ska guitar chord progressions, upbeat bass lines, and intricate drumming. Haggard’s influences include Tokyo Police Club, Chubby Parker and his Old Time Banjo, and Choking Victim. Their set includes original music and covers.
