Día de los Niños, Día de los Libros

Below are 10 photos (by David Pritchett) from this event, held Saturday, April 25th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Central Library, downtown Santa Barbara. Junior League of Santa Barbara was a major organizer and sponsor with the Central Library. Link here for the notice by The Library.

_The event featured a variety of arts and crafts, storytelling, dancing groups, and other activities celebrating literacy and diversity. First 5 Santa Barbara County, an organization that supports the well-being of children prenatal to five-years old, donated about 100 books that were given away at the event.

_The event drew several hundred people.
