LIBRARY VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT, ORIENTATION AND TRAINING
Shelvers, Computer Assistants and others invited. The Santa Barbara Public Library will hold an orientation session for teen and adult volunteers on Friday, April 27, at 9:00 AM in the Central Library Townley Room, 40 E. Anapamu St. A catalog of volunteer opportunities for new potential volunteers is available for review at the Library Information Desk. Following the orientation, there will be a training session for those who would like to shelve books or assist with the public computers as their service. Most volunteer opportunities require a commitment to a regular schedule of two hours per week on an ongoing basis.
