A grassroots stage production debuts when the new Acting Out theater company presents Four Sisters, Four Seasons

The premise: Four Santa Barbara sisters ride the wave of life. Funny, inspiring and heartfelt, "Four Sisters, Four Seasons" captures the comedy and tragedy of romance, divorce, family, marriage and mother-daughter relationships. It's "Steel Magnolias" meets "Love Actually" meets "The First Wives Club." The male characters in "Four Sisters, Four Seasons" are supportive, offering comic relief and a fresh perspective on sex, love and connection. The male energy in this play drowns out cliches that pit women against men, and reminds us that we all travel through life together.
