Description: A festive concert celebrating the 80th birthday of Santa Barbara's preeminent composer, Emma Lou Diemer, featuring highlights from her extraordinarily prolific compositional output. Performances will include works for organ, performed by the composer; piano four-hands, performed by Tachell Gerbert and Bradley Gregory; for soprano, piano/organ, performed by Audrey Sharpe and Beverly Staples; for piano, performed by Betty Oberacker; and for piano quartet, performed by Philip Ficsor, violin, Tom turner, viola, Geoffrey Rutkowski, cello and Betty Oberacker. The concert is free, and there will be a post-concert reception to which all are cordially invited.
