Description: The Tree of Hope is a meaningful way to celebrate recovery or honor people lost to drug and alcohol abuse during this holiday season. At the ceremony, a large Christmas tree will be decorated with lights and ornaments sponsored by people honoring lost loved ones, or mentors and sponsors, as well as people celebrating personal or a family member’s recovery.
The community is invited to participate in the Tree of Hope event by purchasing ornaments to hang on the tree. Silver Drop ornaments are $10, Gold Drops $35, Gold Stars $50, and the Gold Angels are $100. Proceeds from the event will support the programs of the Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse, a non-profit organization seeking to build a safer and healthier community by preventing and treating substance abuse.
