Description: Self awareness and communication through Art Therapy. This workshop involves silent creative art activities such as painting, drawing, collage, writing, and music, followed by group discussion. It is open to individuals who simply want to free their creative process, learn more about themselves, and how to communicate more effectively, and to those who wish to apply these methods in the helping professions. No background in the arts is necessary. The workshop is conducted by Arden Rose, America's finest Impressionist artist, who also pioneered art therapy. She is the author of the book, Interacting Through Creative Arts Activities, published by Pitman Learning, which was an award winning handbook for teachers, and sold out Internationally.
