Description: Nora Pierce, author of the novel The Insufficiency of Maps, will read in the College of Creative Studies Literature Symposium.
A Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers selection, The Insufficiency of Maps follows a young girl and her mother as they navigate geography, mental illness, poverty, and their own hearts, searching for a place to belong. Pierce is currently in residence at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris and teaches writing at Stanford, where she was a Wallace Stegner Fellow.
