The Friday night opening gala will feature a champagne reception with the Janusphere company dancers.
Janusphere Dance Company returns to Santa Barbara's Center Stage Theater. This contemporary ballet company will perform the latest work from choreographers Danielle Genest, Kirill Matveev, Derek Williams, and director Darion Smith.
The music ranges from Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel ("Smith's Fractured") to, Peter Sculthorpe ("Genest's Tangle of Wings"), various Argentine tangos ("Matveev's Milonga") and Dick Hyman ("Williams's Dances For Violin and Piano").
