Description: Performing with a six piece band heavy on the percussive sounds of Latin jazz, Munoz is a multi award winning musician and song writer who has produced several critically acclaimed albums and topped various jazz charts. Though born in Costa Rica, Munoz feels a special connection with Santa Barbara having completed his degree in Music Composition at UCSB. For the last 30 years Luis Muñoz has worked with numerous artists such as Airto Moreira, Etta James, Flora Purím and Jim Messina.
