Description: The upcoming Twenty-Fifth Annual SBCC Continuing Education Writers Workshop at the Tannahill Auditorium. will provide an extraordinary opportunity for novice and established writers to learn the art of writing from professional writers, agents and editors.
Twenty one workshops, one goal: your best writing ever and perhaps your first publication. Since 1984, Santa Barbara City College has presented the acclaimed “Workshops for the Writer” in honor of Ken Millar/Ross Macdonald, Santa Barbara’s famous mystery writer who authored the Lew Archer series.
Moderator and coordinator for the workshop for the past 21 years, Cork Millner has authored over 500 magazine articles, 18 books, including Write from the Start- A Proven Program for Writing and Selling Nonfiction (Simon and Shuster), and Polo Wives, a scandalous novel about the world of Santa Barbara polo.
