Description: Counterfeit Boreins: Fakes, Forgeries and Restrikes will explore many of the attempts to cash in on the growing popularity of John Edward Borein (1872-1945), one of America’s greatest Western artists.
Based on her own experiences evaluating Borein’s works for more than 25 years, the lecture will be presented by Marlene R. Miller, Guest Curator for the Museum’s current exhibition, "Coloring the West: Watercolors and Oils by Edward Borein."
