Description: The SBHS Theatre Arts Department announces the first event in the 2008 Fringe Concert Series. A unique musical experience that has entertained the Santa Barbara community for over half a decade - Music of the Night. This is an entirely student run production, featuring dance and song from the Broadway Stage.

Three student Director/Producers are in charge of Casting, Choreography, Set Construction, Costumes and 42 gifted young performers. This year’s revenue from ticket sales will support the Theatre students participation in the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland in August.

Music of the Night includes selections from current and classic musicals like ‘Jersey Boys‘, ‘Rent‘, ‘The Lion King‘, ‘Spring Awakening,’ ‘The Sound of Music’ and many more. As a special treat, the kids will perform a number from the popular Disney movie ‘High School Musical‘.

We appreciate the communities continued support of the SBHS Theatre Arts program and encourage your attendance at this one-of-a kind event. For more information please call 966-9101 XT 220.
