Description: Community Conversations hosted by UCSB faculty will be held throughout the community regarding this book by Pietra Rivoli, a faculty member at Georgetown University, who will be visiting UCSB in March.
This book giveaway from UCSB Library and its sponsors hopes to:
* To increase awareness of the issues of globalization.
* To encourage reading and discussion of important issues across our different populations of staff, students and faculty.
* To create further campus appreciation of the library and the role it plays in education and research.
* To highlight academic strengths in economics, political science, sociology, and global and international studies.
* To create a sense of fun and camaraderie on campus while addressing an important issue.
* To share a common intellectual experience.
