Description: Moderator: Willa Young, M.A., MFT
Larry Crandell has for more than 40 years, used laughter to loosen purse strings, getting the rich and powerful to part with their money for charity. He has helped hundreds of nonprofits as a volunteer leader and as an emcee and auctioneer. Now 84, he continues to preside over more than 50 community events a year. No wonder people call him Mr. Santa
Barbara.
Larry recalls Nathaniel Branden defining "self worth" as "the experience of being competent to cope with the basic challenges of life and being worthy of happiness." Larry says "I like that definition!" and will speak about how self-esteem has helped him enjoy a successful life.
This lecture format allows an opportunity for questions and answers, from which you'll find yourself motivated and inspired.
Co-sponsored by the Santa Barbara Council for Self Esteem.
