Description: This free youth-led event will feature a variety of activities from poetry readings, musical performances and the spoken word. Our featured guest speaker is author and civil rights activist, Deric Gilliard from Atlanta, former Communications Director of Martin Luther King Junior’s organization. This year, we also have the gospel choir Living Sacrifice from Santa Barbara joining us.
This year’s theme is “Where Do You Stand?” Nearly every school in the Ojai Valley will be participating in this free community-wide program. This youth-led event, presented by the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation, will include art, music, and the spoken word in a festive setting with food and activities for every age
