Description: Please join the Culture, Gender, and Aesthetics Research Focus Group for a screening and discussion of Todd Haynes' 1998 film Velvet Goldmine, an exploration of glam-rock, performance, and the fluidity of identity. The film will be introduced by Andrea Fontenot (Dept. of English) and a discussion will follow.
