Description: The Nonprofit Support Center presents a workshop and panel discussion titled How to Write a News Release (that makes it into the NEWS).
With all that is happening in Santa Barbara, and seemingly constant changes in media outlets, how do you get YOUR organization’s story out to the community? Some things don’t change, like writing an effective News Release. Some things do, like to whom and how you distribute it. This special event will give you the skills to write that release, and the knowledge of local media outlets to get it out there.
This event is appropriate for ANYONE, nonprofit, business, community, looking to learn more about accessing local media.
