Description: Come listen and learn during discussions on Threats to Large Cetaceans in the Santa Barbara Channel, Marine Reserves, and Artificial Reefs. Participate in discussions with community advisors about protection and use of the marine environment surrounding the northern Channel Islands.
The Sanctuary Advisory Council consists of twenty-one members representing the interests of commercial fishing, recreational fishing, non-consumptive recreation, tourism, business, research, education, conservation, Chumash community, public at-large, and ten government agencies, and Sanctuary Superintendent Chris Mobley.
