Description: The musical explores the lives of hard-working American men and women who talk and sing about their jobs, their days, their determination and their aspirations. Based on Studs Terkel’s book of interviews and featuring compositions by Stephen Schwartz (composer of Wicked, Pippin and Godspell), James Taylor, Craig Carnelia and others.
Be prepared with a show tune or James Taylor song and a short monologue. An accompanist will be provided so please bring your sheet music.
Actors will play multiple roles, songs for soprano, alto, tenor and baritone voices. The young tenor part of Roberto requires fluency in Spanish. The show will be performed on April 18, 19, 25, and 26.
