Description: Aikido in a non-competitive Japanese Martial Art that emphasizes blending and redirecting an opponent’s force rather than meeting force directly. Aikido literally means "the way of harmonious energy" and is both a philosophy and a physical discipline that teaches non-violent conflict resolution, physical and emotional control, and social cooperation.
