As a young defendant awaits sentencing for the murder of his father, twelve jurors confined to one room hold the fate of this man and their deliberations have truly life and death consequences. It looks like an open and shut case. Then, the deliberations begin, tempers get short, the murder is re-enacted, and secrets are revealed as each man must expose his own past and prejudices in order to get to the truth. The jurors' final verdict and how they reach it, has made this drama the most enduring, engaging, and thought provoking courtroom drama of our time.
