Description: Indigenous women artisans from Sonora, Mexico share their traditional songs, dance, arts, and culture. The Seri use native materials gathered in the Sonoran Desert and Sea of Cortez to make coiled baskets, ironwood carvings, and shell and fishbone necklaces. Join us for a cultural experience and the opportunity to purchase these crafts directly from the artists themselves. This is only the second time that members of this women’s cooperative have appeared in California.
Admission to the show is free with Museum admission.
