Esperanza's Box: Stories of Hope

Description: An original musical play written from teens from Santa Barbara junior high and high schools, about four young people searching for hope in a world that seems to be against them. Brought together for various reasons to “The Circle”, the four tell their own life stories in a series of intersecting flashbacks that culminate in surprising ways. Along the way, they learn more about themselves and how they are all connected.

City at Peace – Santa Barbara is part of a national program that uses the theater to unlock participants’ creativity around important personal and social issues.
