Art From Scrap Guadalupe Community Connections

A public reception of artwork by more than 80 student artists from Peoples’ Self-Help Housing Guadalupe.

Description: The exhibition is the culmination of a series of workshops led by AFS Artistic Director Holly Mackay and Kat Young, AFS Green Schools Educator. AFS partnered with the Guadalupe Cultural Arts and Education Center (GCAEC), Peoples’ Self-Help Housing Guadalupe (PSHH), and the Boys & Girls Club of Guadalupe to implement this art and environmental education program, thanks to grant support from The Fund for Santa Barbara, the California Arts Council and the Santa Barbara County Arts Commission.
