Description: Graduate students Erin Folchi and Tim Beutler are respectively spotlighted in Minoru Miki's Marimba Spiritual and John Beck's Concerto for Drumset and Percussion Ensemble, Lyuba Kovala and Eddie Trager lead the group in an arrangement of Claude Debussy's Fetes, and the marimba itself is featured in Steve Reich's hypnotically swirling Six Marimbas. The ensemble itself is featured on Peter Schickele's Woodstock Sonata and the concert's finale, Brett William Dietz's Sharpened Stick.
