Description: Social values, political ideologies, economic conditions, globalization, media technologies, and telecommunications networks all interact and produce significant changes in each other. Media industries, production, content, distribution, exhibition and use also affect these topics. Professor Rice will discuss these important concepts and you are encouraged to bring your questions about, for example, routine exclusion of your viewpoint from corporate media.
