Description: Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government in Exile, Venerable Professor Samdhong Lobsang Tenzin, the fifth Samdhong Rinpoche, was specially appointed by the Dalai Lama as one of the deputies of the Assembly of Tibetan People's Deputies for the Tibetan Government in Exile. Later he was elected as its first chairman. A scholar, philosopher, and fully ordained Buddhist monk, Rinpoche fled Tibet in 1959. He has served as principal of the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Varanasi, India. Rinpoche will offer a talk on the future of Tibet followed by questions from the audience.
