To benefit its music scholarship fund, the SB Music Club is presenting a special Irish Celebration with The Foggy Dew Irish band, comprised of Willie Quinn, Gary Jensen, Randy Parada, also Irish dancers the Quinn Sisters, folk songs of Ireland sung by Marilyn Gilbert, Vivian Rangel, Grey Brothers, Nathan Rundlett and Irish tales read by Erin Graffy. Reception following.
The Santa Barbara Music Club is a local non-profit organization dedicated to presenting classical music concerts free to the public. It gives over eighteen performances annually mostly at the S.B. Central Library. Performers are members of the club and guest artists. The club holds a scholarship competition each spring for young music students of Santa Barbara County. This event will raise money for this worthy cause.
