Description: UCSB Arts & Lectures presents the 4th Annual Santa Barbara Human Rights Film Festival – featuring an international selection of award-winning films that examine global human rights issues – on Tuesday, May 26; Wednesday, May 27; and Thursday, May 28 at 7 and 9 pm in UCSB Campbell Hall.
A three-night event featuring 6 exceptional films, this year’s Festival features include the Sundance Film Festival Official Selection The Reckoning, on the controversial first years of the International Criminal Court; as well as the Tribeca Film Festival Best Documentary-winner Pray the Devil Back to Hell; and the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival Official Selection Project Kashmir. Filmmakers for The Reckoning and Project Kashmir will attend the screenings.
The 4th Annual Santa Barbara Human Rights Film Festival is presented by UCSB Arts & Lectures with assistance from Human Rights Watch, Santa Barbara Committee. Evening Passes are $10 for the general public and $8 for UCSB students. Festival Passes for admission to all six films are $20 for the general public $16 for UCSB students.
