Wilderness Youth Project Adult Series: The Mentoring Tools of WYP

A two-part series, focusing on the art of questioning, followed by an experiental workshop on WYP activities.

When: Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here's your chance to get an insider's look at the ways of Wilderness Youth Project!

Wilderness Youth Project Adult Series Presents: Mentoring Tools of WYP
Come discover the way we work:
In these workshops Wilderness Youth Project staff will share the techniques and principles we use for mentoring nature connection with children.

Part I: November 5th
6:30pm - 8:30pm
Unitarian Society: Jefferson Hall
Sliding Scale $20 - $40

A lecture focusing on: the art of questioning and our perspective on flow learning. In addition, we will show how our core routines and principles empower these techniques.

Part II:November 7th
10am - 4pm
Skofield Park
Sliding Scale $25 - $50 or $40 -$75 for both Part I & II

An experiential workshop including activities we use on programs. In debriefing these activities, we will integrate the topics previously covered on the 5th.

These mentoring techniques can be applied within the school system or an auntie or uncle relationship, and are helpful for parents to better harvest the story of their child's day after returning from and adventure with WYP.
