The UCSB Chamber Choir, Michel Marc Gervais, conductor, presents a program of Renaissance motets for Holy Week from Victoria's heart-felt Tenebrae Responsories for mixed chorus and soloists, and Swiss composer Frank Martin's virtuosicMass for Double Chorus, perhaps one of the most stunning and beautiful settings of the mass for a cappella chorus in the history of western music.
