At the the center of this moving play is Alida, a reclusive writer who is losing her control of words, the center of her very being, as dementia begins to effect her. Joining her in this travail is Beth, a woman searching for a center for her life. Together they enter a world where the past merges into the present, and where immense humanity is revealed. Filled with wry humor, Breadcrumbs is a surprising, compassionate and moving story that transcends tragedy to explore the larger mysteries of identity, family, trust, and love.
