A hundred teens and college students were fortunate to attend last year’s first event and the passion and dialogues between the pros and the aspiring artists were abuzz all day. They left knowing that the professional artists of Santa Barbara are there for them and a phone call will bring them advice, mentorship and encouragement to achieve a career in the arts. Many of us would have wished for this guidance as in our youth as budding artists.
The Emcee will be David Starkey past SB Poet Laureate and the Keynote Speaker is Kip Fulbeck pioneering artist and slam poet.
