Rebecca Kleinmann & Dusty Brough
Flutist/vocalist /composer Rebecca Kleinmann and guitarist/ composer Dusty Brough create a dynamic, virtuosic musical duo. Rebecca Kleinmann returns to her beloved SB after living in LA, San Diego, and now Oakland, creating ensembles in each city ranging from Brazilian Music to Jazz to Flamenco. Recent performances include Yoshi's, SF and Oakland, the Oakland Paramount Theater, and the San Jose Jazz Festival. Guitarist Dusty Brough brilliantly combines his roots in Flamenco with Jazz, Folk, Brazilian, Gypsy and Balkan music. As a composer, he integrates these eclectic influences with his unique approach to music and a “blatant disregard for genre boxes” (Joe Bendel, Epoch Times).
After ten years of collaboration, including Elameno Quintet, Dusty and Rebecca have a repertoire of intricate, beautiful and unique original compositions. Watch out for surprise special guests!!

MWE put a modern and eclectic twist on Turkish and Balkan folk music. As a five member acoustic wind ensemble, MWE plays traditional songs with the rarely paired clarinet and the double-reeded zurna. Add one more clarinet, an alto saxophone, and a Davul, a shoulder slung marching drum, and you’re about the closest to heavy metal you can get without amplification.
Their shows are loud, wild and raucous affairs known for drawing entire audiences on their feet in one song or less.
