Twined Gourd Bowl Workshop

Come join Karen Osland and Kathy Badrak as they teach participants how to create a colorful gourd bowl with a twined sea grass and jute rim.

Complete this one-of-a-kind work using a variety of dye finishes. This workshop will also include discussions on how to select a gourd, various cleaning techniques, and the history of gourds. Students will be able to create and finish their bowls by the end of the class.

Participants are asked to bring sharp scissors. All other materials, including a prepared gourd and various embellishments, will be provided. This class is suitable for participants (14 and up) with any level of experience. Pre-registration required, limited enrollment.
