Eric Idle's Monty Python-inspired Broadway hit returns to S.B.'s stages in Solvang.

When: Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, 8 p.m.

Where: Solvang Festival Theater, 420 2nd St., Solvang, CA

Cost: $22.50 - $42

Age limit: 5+

Categories: Theater

This fresh Broadway hit, lovingly ripped off from the classic comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail, retells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. This hysterical, irreverent parody of Arthurian Legend will be special fun in the open air of a Solvang evening. Join the quest… Grab your coconut shells, gallop out and find your grail.

Would love to see it, but $22-40 is way too much to pay.

It was great - try to make it before it closes. Not really a bad seat in the house so get the cheap seats and take advantage of any senior or student discount too. Better than the movie - the songs were joyous and made the storyline more fun to tell. They had a lot of fun putting this one on.
