Description:
The annual Mission Creek Gala is a festive evening to celebrate the work of the Museum and generate support for its scientific and educational mission of inspiring a thirst for discovery and a passion for the natural world. The Gala sustains the Museum’s education programs which touch the lives of 29,000 school children each year through school tours, classes, storytelling, camps, the Nature Collection lending library, and outreach at the Museum and Sea Center. Proceeds from the Gala enable the Museum to offer free admission to schools serving low income neighborhoods and families.
