Invite your pals on this merry journey to San Luis Obispo with a wee bit 'o the Irish as we get an early start on celebrating St. Patrick's Day! (This trip is March 16, the day before!)
The hills will be a-glimmer with springtime-green at every turn along the rails. You'll be welcomed with our own version of the "Celtic Club," with Irish tunes and decor in the afternoon on the southbound leg of the trip back to Santa Barbara. Bring your own libation and Irish fare and revel in the day.
Consider yourself lucky to get to travel on the 1937 Super Chief's Acoma lounge car.
Newly restored, Acoma is the only remaining lounge car of Super Chief's original train set to be certified to travel on American rails. Her two sister cars are on exhibit in museums. The Central Coast Flyer is a program of the South Coast Railroad Museum. Save $3.00/person by booking your fare online. Seating is limited to 25 passengers.
