Founded in Boston in 1815, the Handel and Haydn Society is America’s oldest continuously performing arts organization – and one of its most revered. The group’s esteemed tradition of innovation and excellence began in the 19th century with the U.S. premiere of Handel’s Messiah, among other history-making feats. Now under the artistic direction of Harry Christophers, its internationally acclaimed Period Instrument Orchestra and Chorus has set the gold standard in the field of early music performance. Concertmaster Aisslinn Nosky solos and leads the Grammy-winning orchestra in a concert featuring Vivaldi’s magnificent and much-loved The Four Seasons, as well as works by Corelli and Geminiani.
