Inspired by the beautiful world around her; using acrylics, charcoal, found materials and a vivid imagination; she says of her art: “Painting makes my heart sing.” Each week she spends hours in her studio, a former garden shed, and paints with brushes, fingers, and palette knife. Tonya is a Marriage and Family Therapist in Lompoc, and an author, currently working on a book of poetry and painting.
Please come to the Artists’ Reception Saturday, September 7, 4-7 PM, to share Tonya’s hospitality and art. Refreshments will be served. While there, please spend some time in the Art Gallery, to enjoy the richness of all of the art work on display, and share your thoughts with the artists.
