Synopsis:
Tourists are welcome in Bruges, one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in Belgium. But when the tourists are Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson), hitmen that get ordered by their London boss (Ralph Fiennes) to lay low after a difficult job, this dark comedy features humorous exploits that offer insight into Rays dislike of the place and Kens mind and soul expansion due to the citys quiet beauty. Rather than just blending in and waiting for a call from their boss, these unlikely sightseers immerse themselves in their impromptu vacation through weird encounters with locals, art, film shoots, prostitutes and the like. IN BRUGES ends up becoming a comedic life-and-death struggle allowing for surprise emotional consequences to develop and flourish.
