Synopsis:
Tsui Hark, Ringo Lam, and Johnnie To, three of Hong Kongs most popular and legendary directors, come together to deliver a unique and thrilling comic crime caper. Three drinking buddies, desperate for a big payday, team up with some nefarious types to rob a small jewelry store. After a mysterious man enters the bar and tells them about a major score hidden under the citys Legislative Council Building, they set their plan in motion. They find a priceless Tang Dynasty artifact and end up on the run. Secrets emerge and rifts appear as the gold passes from hand to hand and the bullets start to fly. Each director lends his own distinct style to his segment while keeping the film coherent as a whole, making this a must-see for any self-respecting Asian film buff.
