Last month we bade adiós to an old favorite and hola to a new Mexican restaurant. After (I’m told) four decades of serving dedicated diners arguably the most delicioso tacos in town, La Tolteca closed its Haley St. doors. But lest we fall behind our quota of Mexican eateries, El Caballo Mexican Restaurant has opened up in the former Golden China space. El Caballo, 3130 State St., 687-5916.
