Simple Pleasures

Santa Barbara-based Simple Shoes is doing its part for the environment with its new line of footwear called Green Toe. The kicks hit stores last fall and include several styles: the Loaf, Shuf, a flip-flop (named Toe-Foo), and sandal (called Toe Jam). This year Green Toe will expand its Earth-friendly ways by using packaging made with recycled boxes and by abandoning the use of unnecessary stuffing or tags. Check out Green Toe products at the Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 23, from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at the Sunken Gardens. For more information, visit SimpleShoes.com/GreenToe.
