Green Cleaning

New mom and soon-to-be mom again Laurel Huston is a lean, green, cleaning machine. Her new home-cleaning service, Simply Green, offers complete home cleaning that uses only non-toxic, all-natural products. As a mother, Huston became concerned about using chemical cleaners in her own home, as many such cleaners contain potentially dangerous toxins that can cause illness, allergic reactions, eye, skin, and respiratory tract irritation, fatigue, and disease. But when she set out to find a service that offered environmentally conscious alternatives and discovered that no such service existed, she took it upon herself to create one. The products she uses, which come from Seaside Naturals, are guaranteed to clean and disinfect while leaving your home smelling good (read: no pungent vinegar smell!). In fact, the plant- and vegetable-based ingredients in the products Huston uses are infused with pure essential oils added not only for their cleaning properties, but for their aromatherapy health benefits, as well. Huston’s mission is to “promote the health of your family, while also preserving the health of our planet,” and she’s hoping to do her part to clean up the earth, one house at a time.
