“Labor Exchange: How Much for a Buck?” is an exciting art
project that will be on display outside the Santa Barbara Museum of
Art’s park wing entrance from September 1 through September 11.
Created by a team of UCSB student artists working under the
supervision of Professor Kim Yasuda, the piece involves a shipping
container which has been modified so that it expands and contracts.
Each day between the hours of 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., the student
artists will be present to operate the piece as performance
art.
