Indy Publisher’s Car Stolen, Returned

Santa Barbara Independent publisher Randy Campbell had his car stolen from the driveway of his Riviera home on the night of 7/30. Police managed to catch one of the thieves after a brief high speed chase ended near the downtown train depot, but his accomplice managed to get away. Police say the keys had been left in the car’s ignition. According to police, Campbell was greatly relieved to have his car back, reportedly saying “Bitchin’. Now I can go back to sleep,” when the vehicle was returned.
