Fire Forces Evacuation of Peachtree Community

Responding to the recent comeback of the Zaca Fire, authorities issued an evacuation order for the Peachtree community and an evacuation warning for Happy Canyon Road north of Basline Avenue on 7/29. As of press time, both advisories – which include the ranches between Lake Cachuma and McKinley Ridge – remained in effect.
