Santa Barbara-Based Apparel Store Mocks Dog Abuser

Santa Barbara-based Big Dog Sportswear, with annual sales of more than $200 million, is weighing in on the crime of dog-fighting in the wake of star quarterback Michael Vick’s animal cruelty conviction. A new line of Big Dog T-shirts, hitting the stores on August 31, bear designs that ridicule the NFL quarterback, including an illustration of the company’s mascot dog dressed in an Uncle Sam outfit and spanking a squalling Vick.

This photo gallery contains larger, individual designs of the images that will appear on this new line of shirts. For The Independent‘s take on the whole Michael Vick case, see this recent Angry Poodle column by Nick Welsh.
